Ms Vassel obtained her Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law, graduating with High Honors (ranked #1 in her class) in June 2010. While in law school, she received numerous awards and recognition for receiving the highest grades and graduated as the valedictorian of her class.

Immediately after graduation from law school, Ms Vassel was admitted to practice law in California in December 2010. Prior to being recruited as an attorney at the Nezam and Associates, Ms Vassel worked as a legal intern at that office for over a year.

During that time she worked on family and civil law cases including complex family law litigation, child custody, annulments, divorce litigation, negotiations, premarital and marital agreement drafting and negotiations, business litigation, and contract disputes.

Prior to working at Nezam and Associates, Ms Vassel worked at the law firm of F. Michael Sabzevar as a legal secretary for five years. While working there, she was involved in extensive research, drafting briefs, motions, responses, pleadings, and memoranda, client interviews, discovery, case strategy, and trial preparation on workers compensation, personal injury and civil litigation cases.

Ms Vassel also speaks Farsi (Persian).
